How much does it cost to paint kitchen cabinets in Toronto?

Updated October 2026

Painting kitchen cabinets in Toronto with a sprayed, two-part (2K) factory finish costs $4,180 + HST for up to 35 doors and drawer fronts, with the cabinet boxes included. Larger kitchens go up incrementally with the number of doors. Generally speaking, subdivision homes and condominiums range from $4,180 to $4,980 + HST. Larger kitchens range from $4,980 to $6,970 or more + HST.

You just got the number most companies make you book a consultation to hear. That is on purpose. You research everything else online before you buy it, and your kitchen should not be the exception. Price your own kitchen in a few minutes, no sales visit, no call-back.

Our goal is to deliver each client a kitchen with a look and feel that is polished, with the latest conveniences.

Is this your kitchen?

Let us be straight: this is not the answer for every kitchen. But it is the answer for a very specific one.

Your kitchen is 10 to 20 years old, the kind that came with a family home, townhome or condo built in the 2000s or 2010s in Oakville, Burlington, Mississauga, Ancaster, Toronto, North York or Milton. The doors look dated and worn on the outside. The colour belonged to the previous owners, or to the version of you that picked it. But open a door and the boxes are solid, square and in excellent condition, honestly not very different from the new boxes a renovation would swap them for. The layout works. You are not moving walls or adding an island. What you want is a kitchen you are proud to post, without the permits, the dumpster, and the months of eating takeout over a plywood counter.

If that is you, a recoat gives you a real, impactful update for a fraction of the cost of a renovation, with the upgrades you would want from a new kitchen.

What you get for $4,180 + HST

Not a brush-and-roller job. Here is the full stack:

  • Your doors and drawer fronts go to our shop and are sprayed with an industry leading European two-part (2K) cabinet coating. It cures into a hard, cross-linked shell, far tougher against chips, scratches and daily wear than ordinary paint.

  • Waterborne and low-VOC. It will not yellow, and it resists moisture and the chemicals that live in a kitchen.

  • The boxes are sprayed on site in the same coating and colour. Nothing reads as touched up.

  • Most kitchens take 4 to 6 working days, and only 2 or 3 of those are in your home. You stay in the house and cook dinner every night.

  • No permit, because nothing structural, electrical or plumbing changes. No demolition.

  • Counters, backsplash, sink, appliances and flooring all stay exactly where they are.

It is a factory finish, not a painted one. Same price from Toronto to Hamilton.

When it is not a fit, and we will say so

Some kitchens should not be recoated. We would rather lose the job than take your deposit for the wrong solution.

  • Boxes that are swollen, crumbling or water-damaged. A coating will not fix them.

  • You want to move walls, plumbing or appliances, change the layout, or add an island. That is a renovation.

  • Your counters are being replaced anyway and the cabinets are coming out. Do it all at once.

  • Peeling or lifting thermofoil. The doors cannot be saved. We replace the doors and keep the boxes, still far less than a new kitchen.

Oak recoats well, but grain texture stays under a smooth coating. Want grain-free? Choose new doors.

What can you add for a little more?

This is the part people do not expect. For a little more than the package price, you can add the features people usually only consider once they are spending $35,000 or more on a full renovation.

  • A new door style. Made-to-measure doors and drawer fronts, $16 per square foot + HST, in traditional shaker, thin shaker, beveled shaker or slab. Fitted on your existing boxes, which are recoated to match.

  • Deep drawers. A double-door base cabinet becomes two deep drawers for $778.50 + HST per cabinet, or three for $1,109.07 + HST, with the new doors package.

  • Storage inside the cabinets you already own. Corner swing-outs, lazy susans, pull-out waste and recycling bins.

  • Soft-close Blum hinges, so nothing slams.

  • 40 designer pulls to choose from.

You pick what matters and skip the rest.

What happens if something goes wrong?

A price only matters if the work lasts, so the risk sits on our side.

  • A 20-year no-peel warranty on the coating. The longest cabinet coating warranty we know of in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.

  • The Day One Guarantee: "Any scratch or ding in the first 60 days, no matter how it happened, and we respray it like new at no charge. Once, on up to one third of your doors, drawer fronts and side panels."

  • Fully insured for $2 million and WSIB covered.

Why we only take 4 to 5 kitchens a month

The finish comes from doing it properly: full prep, shop spraying, a real cure. That puts a hard cap on us. We can take on 4 to 5 projects a month, maximum, and there is strong demand for exactly this kind of update from homeowners across Oakville, Burlington, Mississauga, Ancaster, Toronto, North York, Milton and Hamilton. When a month is full, it is full. If you are planning around a listing, a holiday or a milestone, price it now and hold your dates with a deposit.
