Brass and Gold Cabinet Pulls and Handles

Brass warms a kitchen the way a lamp warms a room. This collection brings together cabinet pulls and handles in brushed brass, satin gold, champagne bronze and dark brass, drawn from designer series by Citterio Giulio and Viefe as well as contemporary, transitional and classic shapes, with knobs to match in many of them.

The tones range from a bright, even gold to a soft champagne and a deep, shaded brass. Centre-to-centre sizes run from 64 mm to 320 mm and longer. Every piece ships across Canada through Marathon Hardware and is priced in CAD before HST.

Common questions

What is the difference between brushed brass, satin gold and champagne bronze?

Brushed brass is a warm yellow with a fine brushed grain. Satin gold is brighter and more even, with a soft sheen rather than a polish. Champagne bronze is paler and muted, between gold and nickel. Dark brass is deeper and shaded, closer to an aged tone. The product photos show each close up.

Will brass cabinet pulls tarnish?

It depends on the finish. Most brass-toned pulls are plated and lacquered or otherwise sealed, and keep their colour with ordinary care. Unlacquered brass is made to darken with handling. Clean with a soft damp cloth and avoid abrasives.

Which cabinet colours suit brass and gold pulls?

Brass and gold sit well on white, cream, navy, forest green, charcoal and dark wood, where the warmth stands out. On light oak or walnut they blend in more and the shape carries the piece. Champagne bronze is the quieter choice on pale doors; brushed brass the clearer one.

Can I use brass pulls with stainless steel appliances?

Yes, and it is common. Brass hardware with stainless appliances reads as 2 deliberate metals rather than a mismatch, particularly when the faucet or lighting repeats one of them. Keep to one brass tone across the kitchen rather than mixing brushed brass with satin gold.
